Chief participants in Saturday night's "Pride of South Africa" bill were yesterday within the required limits during their pre-fight weigh-in at the SABC headquarters in Auckland Park.

They are Cassius Baloyi, Malcolm Klassen, Moruti Mthalane, Lehlohonolo Ramagole and Lesley Sekotswe.

Baloyi will defend the IBF junior lightweight title against Klassen in the main bout of the Branco Sports Productions bill at at the University of North West in Mafikeng.

The limit was 61,91kg. Baloyi tipped the scale at 61,34kg while Klassen registered 61kg.

Mthalane's South African flyweight strap will be on the line against Ramagole. Their limit was 53,34kg. Mthalane weighed in at 52,34kg while Ramagole registered 52,40kg.

Sekotswe, who will defend the African Boxing Union super flyweight belt against Nkosana Sobethu (54,20kg), tipped the scale at 53,10kg. The limit was 54,74kg.

Boxing SA called for the ceremony yesterday to conduct the pre-fight medical for the national title fight. Baloyi and Klassen will do two weigh-ins on Friday and Saturday morning.
