Why don't they just make it official and declare South Africa a Banana Republic? First it was Schabir Shaik, and now Jacob Zuma, who gets away with crime.
Why did the justice system even bother if the outcome was going to be a forgone conclusion of dubious parole and dropped charges? The ANC better hope that soccer fans have a short memory and that Bra JZ keeps a very low profile until after the 2010 World Cup, because any more nonsense and the rest of the world will stay away.
