A memorial service for Kedibone Louisa Diale will be held on Thursday at the Tladi AME Church at 1pm.
Diale, 66, of 2262 Jabulani Flats, died at Chris Hani-Baragwanath Hospital last Thursday after a long illness.
Diale, pictured, was once a staunch member of the South African Democratic Teachers Union. She taught for more than 30 years at primary schools in Soweto, including Ithuteng, Karabo, Dumelang and Ikemeleng.
She was a volunteer caregiver for the Hospice Association of the Witwatersrand.
She will be buried on Saturday at the Avalon Cemetery in Lenasia. The service starts at the Tladi AME Church at 8am. - Winkie Dibakwane
