Joyous Celebration kicks off its annual Easter performances at Pretoria's State Theatre this weekend, before travelling to other parts of the country .

They will perform at the State Theatre from April 9 to April 12. The 42-strong group will entertain fans with songs from the newJoyous Celebrations 13 double disc.

Old Mutual is sponsoring the group as part of their contribution to the development of music, incorporating gospel, choral and jazz.

Fans of Joyous Celebration should tune into SABC1 this week for a "Life Celebration" competition where they can send text messages to be in line to win tickets to their show.

There will also be more competitions and giveaways at the State Theatre. Audiences around the country will have the opportunity to experience the Old Mutual Life Celebration Tour on these dates: Cape Town, Grandwest Casino, May 9 and Durban, ICC, June 6.
