Fellow South Africans, please be aware of the thugs on the Nelson Mandela Bridge that links Braamfontein and Newtown, Johannesburburg.
It seems that the security guys are in cahoots with the criminals because whenever a crime is committed, the guards are nowhere to be seen. As a result it is not safe at all.
My plea to the security company is to please deploy more personnel and to change them on a regular basis.
There is a squatter settlement developing under the bridge and this can only spell more danger.
