Rosina school thirsts for World title

Rosina Sedibane High School football team is ready to test their skills against the best in Antalya, Turkey during the World Schools Football Championships from April 6 to 13.

Rosina Sedibane qualified for the event by clinching the national Vodacom Inter-schools Challenge last year.

Under the auspices of the International Federation of Schools Sports, Rosina Sedibane will play against Turkey 2, Poland, Greece, Slovakia and Italy in Group A.

Coach Godfrey Mosoetsa, who is also SuperSport United development coach, said the boys were ready for battle.

"Should our boys overcome stage fright, we will bring home silverware. Our preparations went well and we will not be there to add numbers but to fight for the world title." Mosoetsa said adding they leave for Turkey on Friday evening. Among the school's key players are Thabiso Khwela, Miguel Timm and Jerry Mxabo.
