There was a good mixture of equipment and vehicles, including 4-ton trucks, late model 6x4 horses, semi-trailers and a diverse range of construction equipment and plant," he said.
He said Aucor had experienced a surprisingly healthy demandon manyof the items.There was some very competitive bidding on TLBs, skid steers, loaders and the rigid trucks and semi-trailers in particular, he added.
"It seems these items are extremely popular at the moment and I have no doubt that we will be able to offer exceptional opportunities for all those interested in buying such items at our next auction," said Van der Nest.
He said a top price of R300000 was achieved for a 2006 Volvo TLB, while excellent prices were attained for products across the range.
