Yizo Yizo 3 star Craig Palm is set to become a household name in television again.
After keeping a low profile, Palm is back in the limelight with a new role in Rhythm City.
Unlike in Yizo Yizo where he was a true thug, Palm is playing the role of a deejay.
He starts appearing in his new role from April 29. When approached for comment, Palm confirmed that he has joined the soapie.
He declined to elaborate, saying he was not allowed to talk about his character until he started shooting .
Palm made his name in Yizo Yizo3 in 2006 playing a thug ironically called Angel.
In the drama series he also operated as Ria's henchman who made people's lives difficult at San Jose, a filthy block of flats situated in Joburg.
He also acted in the Oscar winning film Tsotsi in which he played a young cop.
He also starred in the film Max King of Tears.
In television Palm has done shows such as Norman comes to Jozi and a comedy show, Izoso Connection.
He has also appeared in Zone 14 where he played the character of Sting, a soccer star.
He has also done a number of theatre shows, among them, Blues for Mr Charlie, Men Without Dates, The Marriage of Betty & Boo, Rimers of Eldridge, District Six, Odewale Odyssey and The Happy Days of Mr Gumede.
