Poor are happy with ANC

I'd like to echo the sentiments expressed by ANC president Jacob Zuma that the party will rule until Jesus returns.

People of South Africa have proven beyond reasonable doubt that their hope for the betterment of their socio-economic status lies in only one party.

That voters have done that in the current by-elections and are aiming to do it once again on April 22 can only point to one thing - their happiness with the ruling party.

This is because the ANC has never shifted from its principles of advocating a better life for all South Africans and it has also rooted itself among poor people.

Much as it has admitted that a lot needs to be done with regard to service delivery, the records show that no other developing country has achieved what we've managed to achieve in the 15 years of our democratic dispensation.

In essence, the rich history of the ANC and its achievements to date speak volumes about its leadership throughout its reign.
