Metro cops must respect everyone

The Johannesburg Metro Police Department has introduced a new way of fighting bad driving in our city.

The question I have is, is it realistic, given the fact that we've seen them fail to give the service that they are supposed to be giving to the city's people?

Trust me, there will be bribes in the new system.

It is sad to see metro cops chasing people who sell on pavements and not pursuing taxi drivers who use the pavements as their ranks. For example, at the Jabulani Mall taxi drivers use the pavement as their rank and you will never see metro police chasing after them. We pedestrians are forced to walk in the road.

Metro police should treat everyone equally.
