The Eastern Gauteng Netball Association night league kicked off last week Wednesday, and EGNA president Christine du Preez said the matches have been a big success.

"The players are excited for the league. But there is just one concern, since schools have cancelled the under-19 division, all the children of that age group in our area must come to us so we can put them in clubs.

"That way they will be able play at the South African National Championships in July in Polokwane," said Du Preez.

Also, there will be trials for the Thunderbirds at Walter Sisulu Hall on Tuesday.
