SuperSport United's Ugandan goal keeper Denis Onyango is not daunted by the prospect of facing his national team-mates on Sunday when his team visits Kampala City Council.
The second round CAF Champions League first leg match takes place at Nakivubo Stadium in Kampala.
By his own admission, Onyango will be the crowd's least favourite person on the day, as the home team try to bulldoze their way past a United side that swept aside Mauritian opposition Starlight Curepipe 8-2 (on aggregate) in the first round of the competition.
It will be a tense and competitive encounter, said Onyango, and his United team-mates would best be warned that the Ugandans will give them a stiff contest.
"They are a good team. Although things are not as professional as they are in South Africa and the facilities are not of the highest quality, they are a good side," Onyango said.
Although the East Africans are usually of imposing physical presence like he is, the bulk of the team is apparently of medium built.
"A few of them are well-built, but our players will not be intimidated by their size. They are good on the ball and tactically, but they are built more like Excellent Walaza and Lance Davids," said Onyango.
Still smarting from the beating they got from Orlando Pirates at the weekend, the setback would probably have done Gavin Hunt's men a world of good in terms of refocusing their attention on the job at hand and maintaining the intensity needed in producing consistent results. Walaza, Davids and Lerato Chabangu are the only players who have not been registered for this competition.
Ajax Cape Town and Mamelodi Sundowns will also kick off their campaign this weekend.
Ajax host Monamotapa United of Zimbabwe at Athlone Stadium while Downs travel to Mauritian outfit AS Vacoas Phoenix in their Confederations Cup first leg encounter.
