'Evil spirits dwell in Malema'

The African Christian Democratic Party has called on South Africans to join forces in praying for the "demon-possessed ANCYL leader Julius Malema".

The ACDP's newly-elected chairman, Pastor Charles Gololo, described Malema as a lost soul in dire need of spiritual intervention.

"We believe that only a man under a spell of evil spirits which once attacked the Legion of Gadarenes can spew the kinds of things coming out of Malema's mouth," said Gololo.

Malema has been criticised, even by his own party the ANC, for his public statements which started with "we will kill for Zuma" last year.

Malema also called former Gauteng premier Mbhazima Shilowa a security guard and an irresponsible father.

One of the senior ANC officials to feel Malema's fury was Education Minister Naledi Pandor whom he ridiculed for her "fake American accent".

He has also lashed at IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi.

It is these public utterances that led to the ACDP's call for divine intervention.

"We now have good reasons to suspect that those evil spirts have found a new home in Malema," said Gololo.
