In an effort to continuously market Polokwane as a host venue for the 2010 Fifa World Cup next year, a high-profile delegation from the municipality will jet off to two international exhibitions this month.
According to Nomfundo Mbaba-Tshabalala, a spokesperson in the 2010 marketing and communications division, the municipality seeks to adequately market itself to potential investors.
The international tourism bourse (ITB) and TUR will be held in Berlin, Germany, and Gothenburg in Sweden from March 11 to 15 and March 19 to 22 respectively.
A delegation from the municipality's 2010 unit will take part in both events to market and generate exposure for the city as well as to promote investment that would benefit it.
The city of Polokwane will conduct exhibitions at both the ITB and TUR to ensure maximum visibility to all visitors with a special interest in South Africa.
