WASHINGTON - Actor and comedian Robin Williams has postponed four stand-up performances for health reasons, with US media reporting yesterday that he has been hospitalised with heart problems.

WASHINGTON - Actor and comedian Robin Williams has postponed four stand-up performances for health reasons, with US media reporting yesterday that he has been hospitalised with heart problems.

Williams, 57, said in a statement on his website that the next four performances of his Weapons of Self-Destruction show in south Florida have been postponed.

"Williams was experiencing shortness of breath and is being evaluated by doctors who are recommending a week of rest," it said. - Sapa-AFP
