With her stunning and beautiful voice that captivates music fans with ease, jazz singer Zamajobe Sithole is going places.

Sithole , whose latest album Ndoni Yamanzi is receiving massive airplay at the moment, will be performing at the Oude Meester Ekurhuleni Jazz Evenings on Friday . The monthly jazz event takes place at the Birchwood Executive Hotel in Boksburg.

With Ndoni Yamanzi, Sithole picked up where she left off with Ndawo Yami - her debut album. She will hopefully dazzle music lovers with her latest offering.

Born in Frankfort in the Free State and raised in Vosloorus, Ekhuruleni, Sithole is one of the most talented young women in jazz.

She will not be alone at Birchwood, but will be sharing the stage with a group of other talented musician, such as Mavo and Ladies in Jazz.

Ladies in Jazz is one of the most impressive group of female artists who play jazz. After enthralling audiences in countries such as Mali, Egypt and the Middle East, Ladies in Jazz has previously shared the stage with many prominent musicians.

The group was started by two ambitious women, the late Anikki Maswanganye and Thandi Mahlangu, who hoped to start an Afro-jazz band which would empower fellow female musicians.

They were later joined by Zodwa Mabena, Thope Diniso, Lolo Chipane and Lesego Nkonyane. The group has done well since its establishment.

The group has released an album entitled Challenges, which was produced by Don Laka.

Another talented musician is Mavo Solomon, who released his debut album Isigidimi last year.

Tickets cost R280 and R2800 per table of 10.
