Three days after DJ Sbu's alleged reckless and negligent driving drama, police were still mum on whether the popular Yfm presenter has been charged.

Yesterday Gauteng police spokesperson Superintendent Thembi Nkwashu said: "I cannot find the responsible detective, he has been busy the whole day. I have no information regarding the case."

DJ Sbu, real name Sbu Leope, faces reckless and negligent driving charges after he reportedly crashed into a stationary security company vehicle in Sandton on Saturday morning.

He was driving a VW Polo, which overturned after crashing into the ADT security vehicle. Witnesses helped him to get his car back on its wheels.

Our sister newspaper, The Times, reported yesterday that the hired car belonged to his girlfriend Terry Pheto.

One of the passengers in the other vehicle was slightly injured and taken to hospital.
