Ntsepa Pitjeng dazzled the judges yesterday with her performance during the Idols live performance at the M-Net studios.

Pitjeng, 26, was among the top 12 idols who performed to impress the judges, before the cut tonight. She sang Beyonce's hit song If I was a Boy, and dazzled the crowd and the judges.

Mara Louw was so excited she said: "Girl you have a powerful voice and, damn, you can sing. You have what it takes."

Fellow judge Gareth Cliff agreed with her.

Sthembiso Nkosi also impressed with her performance of Celine Dion's Immortality. Her vocal range blew the judges away, including hard-to-please Randall Abrahams.

Dave Thomson said: "That was so well done, you control your voice well."
