Midfielder Bamuza Sono and his club Jomo Cosmos will appear before the league's disciplinary committee today on charges of misconduct relating to assault and unsportsmanlike behaviour.

This follows an incident on December 16 in a National First Division inland stream match involving Pretoria University and Cosmos at the Tuks Absa Stadium.

Premier Soccer League's prosecutor Zola Majavu says the hearing is set to begin at 6.30pm.

The incident is said to have taken place after the match, while the players were on their way to the dressing rooms.

Sono served a two-game suspension for the incident after he was red-carded in the tunnel.

At 5.30pm today, Dennis Onyango and SuperSport United are due to appear before the same DC, also on charges of misconduct relating to assault and unsportsmanlike behaviour.

This follows an incident on January 17 in an Absa Premiership match involving Free State Stars and United at Goble Park.

Majavu also confirmed that a preliminary hearing into a complaint by Carara Kicks that FC Cape Town fielded a defaulter, Mohau Vincent Motumi, in the match between FC Cape Town and African Warriors, will also be held at the league's offices on Wednesday at 5.30pm.
