Bloemfontein Celtic will be homeless due to the temporary closure of Seisa Ramabodu Stadium, which is to undergo major renovations.

The slaughterhouse of the Mangaung lads will be upgraded in preparation for the eagerly awaited Fifa 2010 Soccer World Cup and the Confederations Cup scheduled to kick off in June.

Celtic will have to seek an alternative venue to host their remaining Absa Premiership fixtures and other competitions.

Floodlights, dressing rooms and the pitch are being upgraded.

Celtic are also unable to use Free State Stadium as a result of construction work there in preparation for the Confed Cup and World Cup.

Phunya SeleSele spokesperson Khumbulani Konco said the club was looking for an alternative venue. He said the league encounter against AmaZulu yesterday was the team's last home game at Seisa Ramabodu.

Konco said they were considering Absa Park Stadium in Kimberley or Welkom Stadium for the remainder of the current season. They also are looking at the possibility of using the Free State University Stadium.
