Police in Kagiso in the West Rand have offered a R15000 reward for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of four men wanted for terrorising residents.

Police spokesperson Inspector Solomon Sibiya said four armed men broke into two houses in Kagiso Extension 2 on Tuesday and took electric appliances.

"They robbed the owners at gunpoint and took TV sets, DVDs, home theatres and other valuables," he said.

Sibiya said one of the homeowners was shot and another assaulted during the robberies.

He said the men used firearms, wheel spanners, screw drivers and hammers to assault and rob people.

"We appeal to the community to assist in arresting the suspects. Information given will be treated confidentially."

He said anyone with information should call Superintendent Ntombenhle Kheswa on 082-319-9524.
