"Blade Runner" Oscar Pistorius was discharged from Milpark Hospital on Wednesday following a boating accident in the Vaal on Saturday night.

Pistorius, 22, had sustained serious facial injuries after being flung from the boat.

Gauteng police spokesperson Eugene Opperman refused to comment on allegations that Pistorius was drunk when the accident happened.

On Tuesday, the Vaal Rand and North Rand water wing units discovered three empty alcohol bottles inside the speedboat.
