The East Rand Golf Development Trust will honour late golfer Jack Mokgotla on Sunday at the Springs Country Club.
Golfers have joined hands with B3 Funerals to organise this memorial day for Mokgotla, who died last year after playing the game for decades. Organiser Mabina Mothibe said it is a chance to reflect on how far the sport has come and to remember Mokgotla's role in that growth.
"All golfers are invited and so far we have already had confirmations from Tshwane, Vaal and Soweto," said Mothibe (082-356-2166).
Registration is R250 a person and tee-off time is at 7.15am.
