The Chipeya Netball Academy will host a netball tournament at Regents Park netball centre in Johannesburg this weekend.
Professor Chipeya, the tournament director said the 'Siyanqoba" netball tournament would start on Saturday at 8am and continue on Sunday, with teams from Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal competing.
Chipeya said the event will attempt to bring together netball players from different backgrounds, and so expose them to various playing styles.
"We continue in our duty to develop and promote awareness of the game in this region and beyond," Chipeya said.
