The Limpopo Economic Development Enterprise has appointed renowned football club owner and business tycoon Pat Malabela as the new chairman.
Malabela, who owns national first division soccer outfit Dynamos, was inaugurated by MEC for economic development, environment and tourism Collins Chabane at a low-key ceremony in Polokwane on Friday.
Malabela will be at the helm of a 14-member board of directors that will ensure that LimDev achieves its business objectives during its five-year tenure.
LimDev is a parastatal mandated to establish a sustainable small, macro and medium enterprise sector.
