Speed, recklessness and impatient drivers are some of the major causes of accidents.

We do not know the cause of Wednesday's horror accident.

We will await the court's decision following the arrest of a driver who is facing four counts of culpable homicide.

The courts must send a clear message to those who care less about human lives on our roads. And stiff jail sentences should be imposed on those found guilty of causing carnage on the roads.

Life is a precious gift from God. It cannot be snuffed out by reckless motorists.
