Defend our democracy from ANC tyranny

Cope is constantly in the news. Many things are said about this agent for change, but what seems to elude many people is that this party will for the first time in 15 years give the country a credible, viable and relevant alternative to the ruling party at the polls.

Cope is constantly in the news. Many things are said about this agent for change, but what seems to elude many people is that this party will for the first time in 15 years give the country a credible, viable and relevant alternative to the ruling party at the polls.

The masses must swell the ranks of Cope. If there is no branch in your village, suburb, hostel, township or campus, set up one quickly.

Democracy is not a spectator sport. It requires all and sundry to be part of the process. South Africa is on the precipice of an erosion of the most fundamental tenets of democracy. Concerted and vehement attacks on the judiciary are an example of the erosion that is steadily gaining momentum.

Opposition parties are the only pillars standing in the way of anarchy, debauchery and mediocrity.

Those who continue, on almost a daily basis, to propagate, regurgitate and peddle falsehoods about Terror Lekota and Mbhazima Shilowa by saying they failed to deliver while in government must be reminded that they were deployed by the ruling party. So it is ANC policies that failed, not the two distinguished gentlemen. Perhaps this is an admission on the part of the critics that their party has failed.

Defend democracy from the naked aggression of dictators and the power hungry.
