ANC tasting its own medicine

Is the ANC really tasting its own medicine as some commentators have observed in the light of the recent war-talk between the leader of its youth league and his opposite number in the IFP about campaigning in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal?

Well, it is not for me to make a finding, but I wish to point out that it is dangerous to follow a bad precedent in society since our generation will apply same.

First, it was the ANC which blocked the entrance of a hall in Orange Farm so that Cope could not hold its meeting there. No one dared to condemn such a deplorable act. Secondly, it was KZN ANC secretary Senzo Mchunu who said on national television that KZN was a no-go area for Cope and he would make sure of that.

As usual, nothing was done about this unfortunate statement. Thirdly, it was Julius Malema who boldly told students at the University of Limpopo that they should declare their campus a no-go area for Cope.

There is one thing that I do not understand about the ANC and which has been bothering me for some time now: Why do they like to play victim all the time?

Why do they think other parties are always conspiring and are out to get them?
