Strip clubs promote abuse

I am disappointed by our brothers whose faces were on the front page of the Sowetan on Monday.

It makes one really wonder what goes on in those black men's minds? Is sex the only thing that they think about?

No wonder women prefer to be single because any fool who is seen in a newspaper fondling a stripper's breasts and lolling his tongue like a dog is not worth it.

How are your girlfriends or wives supposed to feel after seeing that picture? Or perhaps you're nothing but lousy polygamists who do not give a damn about their feelings.

I don't want to blame our government for this, but strip clubs should be removed from residential areas.

We do not want to promote promiscuity or more men who think like Bonginkosi "Zola" Dlamini. I foresee a situation where children, the elderly and disabled people will be raped because mindless men who frequent strip joints would attack the first thing they lay their eyes on - even dogs.

We do not want a democracy that will destroy the future of our children.

Bongiwe Dlamini, Pretoria
