We need to teach our children to save

We live in an era where most people are spendthrifts.

We live in an era where most people are spendthrifts.

So there is a need to impart saving skills into young children so that when they grow up they do not suffer from heavy debt. This could be achieved by opening a savings account for them while they are still young.

Saving can also help to eliminate debt. There are some items that require cash, but due to a reliance on paying monthly instalments, we end up paying twice the amount for such items.

If parents and teachers can take the initiative to teach children how to save, this country could produce more millionaires.
