ANC must stop harassing Cope

I am responding to the speech by ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema who said wherever Cope held a rally, the ANC would use the closest venue to the new party to show that it had more support.

I am responding to the speech by ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema who said wherever Cope held a rally, the ANC would use the closest venue to the new party to show that it had more support.

This statement is pure nonsense and shows that the ANC has realised that Cope will be a serious threat in the coming elections.

But why is the ANC only after Cope? It is not the only opposition party. So the ruling party must stop harassing Cope and concentrate on service delivery because that is what the voters want.

Wasting time trying to discredit Cope is not going to help the ANC in any way.

With the birth of Cope, South Africans are spoilt for choice. The ANC must now watch its step. As for Malema, he will take too long to mature.

ANC leaders must do something about his behaviour because he makes the party look like a bunch of crackheads. Malema is an embarrassment to politics in general.

Calling rival parties "Mickey Mouse" is a sure case of disrespect. It also shows that his upbringing was not up to standard as far as respecting people goes.

If the ANC youth leader wasn't so ridiculous, people could be mistaken for thinking that he was dangerous.
