Black Leopards got the motivation to gain a Premiership spot when a sponsor gave them a late Christmas gift.

Lidoda Duvha yesterday took ownership of new training facilities donated by their giant cellphone provider and club sponsors, MTN, at Makhado.

The event even attracted acting MEC for sports, arts and culture in the province Dikeledi Magazi.

Leopards' boss, David Thidiela, said the R1million facility will contribute to the improvement of the team's performance.

"This world-class facility will aid the team's preparations and motivate them to return to the Premiership," Thidiela said.

Anthony Garstang, MTN's senior manager for sponsorship, said they realised that Leopards did not have proper training facilities.

"We believe that these facilities will assist and motivate them in their campaign to return to the Premiership," Garstang said.

Leopards will host Jomo Cosmos tomorrow at Tshifulanani stadium. Kickoff is at 3.30pm.
