Limpopo's bogus chief, Alpheus Kekana, is still on the run after he allegedly escaped arrest at a roadblock outside Lebowakgomo in November last year.

Kekana, pictured, the self-proclaimed chief of Hlakano village in Zebediela, was allegedly in the company of his lawyer, Jerry Ngoasheng, when they ran into the roadblock.

They were carrying two allegedly stolen cows in Ngoasheng's bakkie.

Kekana managed to escape , leaving Ngoasheng to face the law alone.

Home affairs spokesman Sam Moremi said yesterday that Kekana was still at large.
