The Confederations of African Football yesterday announced the first and second round draw of the 2009 African Confederation Cup.

The first matches of this competition, won last year by Club Sportif Sfaxien of Tunisia, kicks off on January 30- 31 and on February 1. The second leg matches will be played on February 13-15.

South Africa will be represented by Mamelodi Sundowns, although Sundowns will only play their first match on the second round, having received a bye in the first round.

Sundowns' opponents are to be either Vacoas Phoenix of Mauritius or Madagascar's AS Adema. The return legs are on April 3 to 5. - Reuters and Sowetan
