All for Obama

By the time we go to bed tonight, Barack Obama would have been inaugurated as the United States of America's first black president. Not since the election of Nelson Mandela here in 1994 has the election of one man meant so much to the world that desperately needs heroes.

Obama will not have an easy ride with the world economy being where it is and long-term Middle East peace prospects proving themselves as intractable as ever.

On the upside, Obama will come to office knowing that he has the best wishes of people of goodwill from all over the world. It might be an American event, but having a President Barack Obama is one of the best things that could have come in our lifetime. Good luck brother president.
