Dynamos boss Pat Malabela steered his side to a 3-3 draw with Black Leopards in a National First Division inland stream Limpopo derby at Tshifulanani Stadium on Saturday.

Malabela left the grandstand to join his technical team in the 16th minute after Leopards scored two quick goals in the fifth and 15th minutes through Thabo Mongalo and Walter Ramulondi.

Leopards lost concentration and gave Dynamos a chance to regroup, so they duly pulled one back through Joseph Mthombeni's header in the 28th minute. Gerald Modabi levelled the score in the 35th minute and a minute later Patrick Apataki put Dynamos in the lead.

Robert Ng'ambi's header from Mahlatse Maake's free kick was too strong for keeper Swadick Sanudi as Leopards levelled the scores at 3-3.

The draw has lifted Dynamos from the bottom of the log to seventh place.

Elsewhere, FC AK beat Witbank Spurs 2-0 at Ackerville stadium also on Saturday. In the coastal stream, Ikapa Sporting beat FC Cape Town 1-0 at Bluedowns, while Vasco da Gama pipped Nathi Lions 1-0 at Parrow Park and Durban Stars played to a 1-1 draw with Hanover Park at Chatsworth Stadium.
