As a die-hard Orlando Pirates supporter I am really concerned about the performance of this once feared, mighty team.
Coach Rudi Krol was getting it right when the season started but he is becoming bigheaded by favouring certain players over the best.
I want to warn the management and the coach that unless they do the following, the team is going nowhere:
l Put Lehlohonolo Seema on transfer. Of the games Pirates played with Seema on the field we conceded seven goals because of him.
l The coach must have Siphelele Mthembu in the starting line-up.
l Don't field Thembile Kanono and Teko Modise at the same time because they confuse other players.
l Strengthen your defence by bringing back the young Michael Morton.
l Our defence has no ability to defend set pieces and corner kicks. Similarly, our strikers are incapable of scoring through corner kicks and set pieces.
l We only see the impact of crosses being translated into goals when Dikgang Mabalane is on the field. Lebohang Mokoena is another player who has overstayed his welcome
Mr Krol, we love you and want you to be our coach for at least the coming five years, but we want results.
