'Reduce fares or we walk'

Commuters in Mokwakwaila village have threatened to boycott taxis unless fares are reduced.

The Bolobedu United Taxi Association ferries passengers from Mokwakwaila and the northern parts of Bolobedu in Limpopo.

Commuters said R9 for the 3km trip is too expensive. They said they would boycott taxis and walk until fares were reduced.

Buta spokesman Stephen Sefofa promised to investigate the high fares.
