Cash fund for cholera

The Greater Sekhukhune municipality in Limpopo has put aside R18,5million to deal with the cholera outbreak.

Since December 12 the district's hospitals have admitted more than 200 patients suffering from the water-borne disease, according to the municipality's mayor, Namane Masemola.

90 new cholera cases were reported in Limpopo yesterday, adding to the 52 cases reported on Tuesday and 48 the day before.
