Bono and Beyonce have joined The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, among the stars to perform at Barack Obama's presidential inauguration celebrations at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday.

Also featured will be Mary J Blige, Garth Brooks, Usher, Shakira and Sheryl Crow.

Called We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial, it will have Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx and Denzel Washington giving historical readings two days before Obama takes office.

On the eve of the big event, the Beastie Boys and Sheryl Crow will co-headline the Hey, America Feels Kinda Cool Again event at Washington's 9:30 club.

Also part of the 10-day celebrations are WAR, Marc Anthony, Wynton Marsalis, Josh Groban, John Legend, Stevie Wonder and John Mellencamp.

Soul queen Aretha Franklin is hotly tipped to perform at the inauguration itself.

l Meanwhile, The Game's sister Sherani Taylor has spoken of her drive-by shooting nightmare for the first time as she recovers from the incident last year.

The hip-hop star, aka B-Fly, was recording at home in Compton, Los Angeles, and when she stepped outside for a break, she was shot in the hip.

Luckily she was left with only a flesh wound - and she's convinced the bullet wasn't meant for her.

Now, walking with a limp, Taylor tells US magazine Sister 2 Sister, "I'll never believe what happened in those two minutes. My life changed.

"I heard a bullet fly. I didn't think it was aimed towards my area.

"The next thing you know, they just started firing . I started to run. I fell .

"My friend, he ended up grabbing my arm, helping me get up. I got up on my feet . and I just felt something drip down my back. I turned around and I just went into shock. I passed out.

"The doctor told me that it was a flesh wound. The bullet seemed to have landed in my skin and sat there for five minutes and then fell out." - Wenn
