Diyo Sibisi, Free State Stars' prolific striker has asked the club management to put him on transfer.

According to general manager Rantsi Mokoena, Sibisi - who finished as Stars' leading goal scorer last season - is available to any team that might be interested in his services.

"It was his idea to leave and as a club, we cannot keep an unhappy player and run the risk of his under-performing," said Mokoena.

Sibisi's contract with Ea lla Koto ends at the end of next season. He confirmed he was on the lookout for greener pastures, having been with Stars for the past two seasons.

"I have been approached by several teams, but there are a few things that I need to discuss with the club before I can say anything else," Sibisi said.

The latest news on Mbulelo "OJ" Mabizela is that the defender has prioritised getting a team to play for.

Mabizela's agent Francesco Ferrari said this would be done as soon as Mamelodi Sundowns have agreed on a transfer fee.

"I cannot go into teams that he might or might not be joining. What people need to understand is that OJ is still on contract with Sundowns, and before we could agree with any other team, we need to clear terms with his team first.

"I have spoken to Mabizela and he is looking forward to resuming his career," he said.
