Former Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Kenny Ndlazi has joined Amazayoni's cross-town rivals, Witbank Spurs.
The club confirmed yesterday that they have signed Ndlazi until the end of the season.
He joined Spurs after a short stint with Nathi Lions.
Siyavutha director Themba Mafu said: "We brought in Kenny for his vast experience and great leadership in football. We also felt that his presence will boost the players' confidence."
Ndlazi, who was on the bench when Spurs lost 2-3 to Dynamos at the weekend, said he can't make any promises at the moment.
"I have been working with the players for the past four weeks and I'm very happy with almost all the departments. The only department I will reinforce is the goalkeeping and we are currently negotiating with one of the best goalkeepers," said Ndlazi.
"Overall I've got a squad that can compete and win something. The league race is still far from over and if one can look at the points margin between the team at the top and those at the bottom, it is not that huge. We just need to be consistent and collect maximum points," he said.
Ndlazi is credited with leading the U-23s to a historic 3-1 win over the feared Brazil in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and with steering Mpumalanga Black Aces to the final of the Nedbank Cup last season.
Harry Nkosi will remain at Spurs as Ndlazi's assistant.
Nkosi has been caretaker coach since the end of last season.
Meanwhile, Winners Park have roped in three players in their concerted effort to win the inland stream league.
They are Sipho Sephadi from Jomo Cosmos, striker Desmond Chauke from University of Pretoria and goalkeeper Khabo Maluleka from GaRankuwa United.
