A Limpopo woman who has been at loggerheads with social workers she once accused of taking her children away is now over the moon after their homecoming.

A prolonged life of loneliness turned into ecstasy when Nancy Sethosa's four children were brought back to her.

This came after a long and tumultuous battle between Sethosa and social workers, who once declared her "unfit" to raise the children.

Sethosa's daughters, Grace, 17, and Lenda, 12, were kept at the Polokwane welfare complex, while sons Max, 4, and Delson, 16 months old, stayed with the Polokwane child and family care society for several months.

The children were taken away from Sethosa after reports that she was sick and that at some stage she had allegedly left her children to seek employment while Max still needed to be breastfed.

Grace was forced to drop out of school to look after her siblings .

The children and their mother are in seventh heaven.

Said a tearful Sethosa: "It's like I'm dreaming. I never thought that one day I would be reunited with my children."
