Mthobi Collen Yende of KwaNyuswa in KwaZulu-Natal, has been cleared of owing Standard Bank R580000 for a house he never bought or lived in and is considering legal action.
Yesterday Yende received a terse SMS from the bank: "Your complaint Ref No: 5135296 have (sic) been resolved. If you are not satisfied, call Standard Bank Complaint Resolution Centre 086-010-1101."
Yende said: "I want to know who defrauded the bank using my details."
