Bidvest Wits have promoted two vibrant players from their Vodacom Second Division development side, Bid Boys, to beef up the team.

Wits manager George Mogotsi told Sowetan yesterday both players deserved an opportunity to play in the senior team after impressing coach Roger de Sa and the technical staff.

The players are left wing Teboho Langerman, 22, and striker Samuel Ramosoeu, 26, who both started training with the first team late last year.

The players signed new contracts on Monday but Mogotsi would not disclose the details.

Mogotsi described Langerman from North West, who joined the team in 2006, as a diligent, strong and pacey player who also possesses good character.

He also firmly believes the strongly built Ramosoeu will offer great value to the team after he had a short stint with New Zealand's Wanderers FC, who are campaigning in that country's Premier League, in 2007. He joined Bid Boys last year.

He said they are still looking for a defender and striker but has ruled out the possibility of off-loading players at this stage.

The Clever Boys are third on the Absa Premiership log.
