AmaZulu forward Collins "Big Animal" Chabalala says he has nothing to prove against his former club, Free State Stars, when the two teams meet in an Absa Premiership fixture at Goble Park on Saturday.

Kickoff is at 3.30pm.

"For me it will be a normal game because I really don't want to put myself under unnecessary pressure. I have nothing to prove in this match," said Chabalala who was snatched from Ea lla Koto in the close season.

He added: "I know people think that I will use this match for revenge after Stars let me go. It is not about revenge but I must say that I will fight hard to help my club to succeed on Saturday."

Chabalala, who also had stints at Orlando Pirates, Bloemfontein Celtic and Black Leopards, is on top of his game at Usuthu, where he has formed a good partnership with Dumisani Ngwenya.

He has scored four goals so far this season and his strikes helped AmaZulu to stay unbeaten in their four matches last month.

AmaZulu go into the Saturday's encounter without Ghanian youth international Mohammed-Awal Issah who is in Serbia for a medical. He is set to join Red Star Belgrade.

Philani "Zane" Mabaso, AmaZulu's publicist, said they were eager to continue with their fine form in the new year. He said they will not release any player in the January transfer window.
