Seshego Cannons have vowed to turn the tables and move out of the basement of Limpopo Softball Association's LimDev Super League log when the programme resumes on Sunday.
The matches will be staged at Moletlane Texas diamonds in Zebediela.
Cannons will take on Texas in the opening match at 10.30am and lock horns with fellow strugglers Mamaolo Rebels at 1.30pm.
The Seshego-based side, formed in 1989, and one of the oldest clubs in the league, is are still to collect a point after they went seven matches without a win.
Last season they finished in the top eight and qualified for the Windhoek Draught Top 8, losing in the quarterfinals.
Joseph Motladi, the club's manager, said they were able to correct some of their mistakes in the festive break.
"We have regrouped and are ready to take on our opponents to ensure that we move out of the relegation zone, a position we are not familiar with," said Motladi.
" If we continue dropping the points, obviously we will be relegated, something that will not be appreciated by the people of Seshego, considering that we are some of the founder members of Great North Softball Association [Grensa] decades ago."
The Seshego side has conceded the most runs in the league (114) and scored the least (27). This must be a concern to their fans who have been supporting the side since the formation of Grensa in 1980 before it was renamed LSA.
