Moabelo, 41, from Tembisa in Ekurhuleni said: "I am so happy. I have already budgeted for my Christmas spending.
"I will use some of the money for school fees and uniforms in January.
"I will invest the rest of the money."
Sowetan has given away R100000 to 20 readers this festive season.
