Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre spokesman Sarene Kloren said the body was airlifted from the rocky beach by helicopter.

The first body was spotted by locals on Monday night after it washed up on the beach.

Five other occupants of the boat survived the incident on Monday evening despite heavy seas and gale force winds.
