I believe something must be done urgently to address this situation.

Our parents spend their hard-earned money to pay for our university tuition so that we can have a better future. They are ecstatic when we graduate, but their joy suddenly turns to sadness when we struggle to find work.

The question is: "Did we choose the wrong career or is it just that employment opportunities are dry?"

Perhaps we lack pertinent information or we go to the wrong places to seek employment.

Be that as it may, the reality is that no job will come knocking on your door so you have to market yourself.

As to how you perform that task will be up to you and it depends on circumstances, but I think the bottom line is to familiarise yourself with the environment you are in and to set targets.

Finally, it is very important to weigh up your chances of being employed before you embark on any career.
